Hehehe... [Feb. 14th, 2006|12:59 am]
[mood | cheerful]

Long time no write! I've been updating myself on my new MSN blog 'feiinjapan@yahoo.com' << by the way, that's not my e-mail address. I reckon I am a real... extreme person. I write only on two occasion either when I am really depressed or when I am over the top with things. Don't worry this time I am not going to complain about how miserable my life has been. I love the summer vacation. So... good so... good, I'm feeling so... good!!! I apologise to those hard-working friends and foe out there.

Got spare time to write [Sep. 28th, 2005|02:26 pm]
[mood | bored]
[music |MSN 'ding dong']

Ok, I was just thinking about picking up that book but then I thought nah, I'll do something more fun like updating my livejournal. Feeling a bit down from thinking too much (I don't usually think too much?!) so I gotta stop thinking and start taking action!!! Hohoho... I'm pretty much behind all my schoolworks, not to mention about other things. I planned to have a small hotpot party this saturday but everyone seems so busy, I got 4 rejections already. People just don't like been rejected especially 4 times in a day!!! How sad. Anyway, I hope we can just have a small gathering and just chat a bit. Got to prepare to go out for a movie in about an hour so I'll keep it short.

A new semester begins! [Aug. 7th, 2005|02:20 am]
I had a relatively short but fulfilled winter break. I did quite well in my exams so I was able to enjoy my holiday even more. I met up with Chihiro and Debbie a few times and one time with Manju and Sych. We went clubbing to our ususal spot, Portoon. The day before, I checked my closet and found out that I don't have any clubbing clothes! So, the next day just before going to the club, I spent $60 in Myers and got this sexy and elegant top.

I was introduced to Debbie's friend, Crystal, she was quite dressy, really out going and has a fun character. Crystal forgot her ID so she told us to go in first and then one of us to come out and give her Sych's ID because they think all Asian look the same, they won't notice the difference. Oh boy, we were all wrong!!! We went to 2 clubs, they won't let her in so we were all quite disappointed that she had to go home.

I have 30 hours of school per week this semester, not looking forward to that. Class is getting more difficult, but this is the first time that I feel like that studying is quite fun (believe it or not!) I'm still studying Japanese but this time I'm studying for the JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test) held every year in December. Apparently if you pass this test it will improve your chance of employment in Japan and elsewhere.

A great evening [Jul. 17th, 2005|11:49 pm]
[mood | cheerful]

On Thursday, Natsuki Chihiro and I went out for dinner. We went to a korean restaurant, I got drank by umeshyuu (Plum Sake). My ears went so red, like rabbit's ears and my face, a big red apple! After filling our stomach with food and sake, we went to a jazz live house. They hired a group of over-aged band with a spanish looking female singer. The atmosphere was great, we sat there for a while just chilling out and chatting and made origami. I made the ugly one.

Natsuki will leave on saturday to go back to Japan but she will be back soon. She felt tired but we made her stay late to eat more hehe..., we went to pancake-on-the-rock and had blueberry pancake for dessert. There were 3 guys sitting in the table beside ours'. We were so amazed how much food they ate and how fast they ate. They ordered mountains of food and had about at least 20 plates on their table.

We were talking about something about marrying each other's cousins so we can become apart of the family. We had weird conversations but overall I really enjoyed that evening.

Hoho...holiday!!! [Jul. 9th, 2005|03:34 pm]
[mood | excited]
[music |Will's I'm Back]

Yeppy... relax! Exams over & did pretty kewl! Got plenty of time to update this livejournal now!!! I finished my exam on the last 2nd day which makes 3 weeks holiday instead of 4. Oh well, I guess I got more time to study. After my last exam I was pretty excited and went to watch 'War of the world', the special effect was great but the story was not logic at all. How did all the aliens suddenly just died!? Can anyone one answer this question. I discussed it with Chihiro, but she doesn't seem to know. So if you like action packed, high-tech and fantasy stuff then I recommend you to watch it.

Three of my friends from Japan came to Sydney yesterday, we had dinner in Thai foon near the harbour, great view and great food. Everyone enjoyed their thai experience. We went to IMAX to watch 'Shark 3D'. It was pretty hmm... educational, feel like you were diving with the shark beside you.

These few days I studied a bit for my driving knowledge test, it was quite simple, I did 2 tests and passed all so I'm pretty ready to go ahead and get my learner's license. I checked a few programs on the university job online website. It had pretty fun programs, like you get to travel to Japan or America and work in one of the ski resorts and get paid. The best part of about this is that they pay for everything except for your airfare. I think of doing this after I graduate, prob. next year in Dec-April. I might choose Japan again.

I'm studying for the Japanese proficiency test for Level 3 & 4, got this practice book from kinokuniya.

I'm looking for a few work experience related to biology. I applied for Taronga Zoo but no answer yet. Manju kept telling me how important it is to get work experience, I think she is right. I need more practical experience not just textbook based knowledge.

Oh yeah, I'm also thinking about going to Univeristy of Calfornia in Berkley, I heard it's one of the top public university in the U.S. but I must get the scholarships or else forget it. I'm looking for some other scholorships. My friends are all like, are you addicted to exchange, I'm like yeah I think so.

Probably going to watch fantastic four next saturday and go clubbing (haven't been there for a long time). Natuski is going back to Japan next Thursday, so probably have a little party for her before she goes.

***Summer Snow*** [Mar. 28th, 2005|10:36 pm]
[mood | hopeful]
[music |summer snow]

Hmm... I haven't update this journal for a long... time, god knows for how long. Anyway, I'm on my easter break now. I have time to write. ureishi. I sent Liz off to Japan yesterday. We had a great time in Sydney, it was kinda of like cramming a-1-month trip into 1 week. No matter what, the most important thing is that we enjoyed ourselves. Daisetsu no koto wa tannoshikkata. Minnawa hontoni gomenne, atashino nihongo ga waruini naata. Demo, shinpaishinai. ii tomodachi ga irukara itsumo ishyou ni nihongo wo benkyousurutsumorida.

After watching "Summer Snow" http://www.geocities.com/morikai/ssnow/SS00.html. Thanks Dave for the great drama! I've made a decision to go diving for this summer vacation. This is the course I will attend, http://www.abyss.com.au/NG.html, it sounds really cool because it's not only a diving lesson but it allows you to explore the sea with experts like marine biologist. This summer will determine my future career, whether to do marine biology or just pure biology. My future depends on one dive, hehe... of cause it would be even better if my "natsuo" would be there diving with me. After Japan I want to explore more, things like diving is definitely one of my top priorities.

Life in here is getting back to normal and things are getting on track. I'm hoping I won't miss Japan too much but I think it should be alright if I keep myself busy doing the things I'm suppose to do and at the same time doing things that I enjoy. I like the way things are right now. Japan is more like a tsunami, I just don't know when things turn up but Australia is like a swimming pool, although overprotected but I feel safe and relaxed. I think Liz was right when she said that when we get back we tend to compare everything with Japan.

Thank you my friends! [Jan. 11th, 2005|12:38 am]
[mood | thankful]

11-01-05 (Tuesday)

Start of a new year, made it through 2004, yatta! (great!) I loved the ending of 2004. I loved 2004! Great memories, starts off with a great 21st birthday and ended with a great experience in Japan. Wow, 2004, really amazes me! Thanks Mum & Dad for giving me this wonderful trip. God, how many times have I said that. I love you guys!!! My parents are the greatest parents ever, I really do love them very much. Mum & Dad I will thank you with all my heart in the future.

I will not forget everything you two did for me. I will never forget. I will listen to you two when I return back to OZ (maybe if I agree with you two :P) But thank you for everything especially this trip to Japan! I hope I can do something like giving you two a real honeymoon on Dad’s 50th Birthday, which is next year. Wow, maybe Mum’s 50th birthday in 3 years time!!! Wow, time is amazing, wow (how many times have I said wow! Countless!) It’s scary to think about it yet I’m still so immature, like a child who will probably never grow up. But I guess compared to people at my age, I might seem more mature than them. They are probably playing while they can. I’m doing the same now, maybe, but I never regretted. I want my youth to be happy, to be enjoyable, to be fun and exciting, filled with many wonderful stories which I can tell my children and grandchildren later on in life. Life is meant to be exciting, I forgot about that part.

I will become genki again, try everything I can in Japan, go to Nikko, go clubbing again, go to that swing club and invite them over for okonamiyaki. Go back to OZ enroll in that night Japanese course, choose my three Biology classess, do the Aussie mate program, take my Japanese friends around Sydney, have lunch and talk with some old friends and study of cause. Take Liz and maybe Becca if she can come to OZ around Sydney, to Coogee Beach Palace. Yeah…!!! Just wish everything will go according to my plans. Oh yeah, I decided to go to America to meet up or the Kansai Gaidai Fall semester seminar house II Southern part of America reunion (what a long title!!!). Yeah, I will go to U.S. to visit them, they are great bunch of people, really worth visiting!!! I love everyone of them, they are too … kind, I’ve never met such nice friends b4. Hopefully our friendships will last, at least keep in contact by e-mails.

Liz, Becca, Crystal, David, Daniel, Maria, Martina and Miki really hope to see you guys this year in August right? Thanks guys without you guys my trip to Japan wouldn’t be this exciting. Thanks Crystal for the trip to Tokyo, Thanks Liz for the trip to Underlounge, and the free drink from your lovely salaryman, thanks Becca for your kindness always letting me use a lot of things from your room and being a wonderful friend. Thanks David for studying Japanese together and trips to QQ and walking with me to or from school and sometimes Makino St. Thanks Dan for your great sense of humor and god I just have to say, you and Crystal the perfect match!!!  Thanks Maria, for being a cool person always and u’re the best with karaoke anime songs. Thanks Martina for being the most generous person and the most friendly person and that girls night was so fun and you’re a psyche. Thank you Miki for your invitation to your house, and your mum’s wonderful cooking and taking to my dream concert Kinki Kids, my dream came true!!!

Thank you all of you guys for being such wonderful friends. I will treasure these memories for the rest of my life and beyond if there is an afterlife. Yeah, you can tell I’m a pretty emotional person. Yes, I’m!!! Love all of you guys!!! :O) Fei (words from the heart) a bit emotional or some of you guys might called it gross but hey, I really meant it).

The end [Dec. 27th, 2004|12:45 am]
[mood | gloomy]

27-12-04

Wow, end of my exchange experience in Japan. Time fly real … fast. It’s been an amazing 4 months period for me. I enjoyed every day, every hour, every minute and every second of it. Japan you have changed me, definitely. I have learned so much from you, Japan. Thank you for giving me this wonderful experience. Thank you for giving a group of wonderful friends. Thank you for letting me stay on your land, letting me visiting different places, letting me discover a totally different yet similar culture. I will come back to visit you again, Japan, in the near future. It is time for me to go back to reality and face reality and challenge reality and win reality. If I won I will come to you again, if I lost I will come to you but it will take time.

Life is complicated sometimes I don’t understand why people hide their feelings from each other, hide secrets from each other, hide the most important part of their lives. Isn’t it better to share it with someone you love or in my case, share with a friend you trust. Brad just reminded me “life is short!” and it’s true so why can’t people be more direct about what they want in life, instead playing the stupid game.

I discovered that most people in particular guys love to play the love game or the hunting game. We all know this game, it starts off with the guy chasing the girl and if he wins the girl’s heart, then he wins the game. How simple is that. But things don’t always work this way. We all know that things are just not that simple. It’s really about both sides, giving and receiving. Love is too confusing for me right now. Although people say this is a great age to fall in love, but love doesn’t come easily.

SPA World [Dec. 20th, 2004|08:13 am]
[mood | relaxed]

Spa World! Ladies' 'day' out. Chihiro came all the way from Nikko to Osaka to see me! Thank you Chihiro, you are the best, I will remember what you did for me. :) Chihiro, Crystal, Becca and I went to SPA WORLD, sekaidaionsen (the world's largest onsen). We went to pick up Chihiro from Shin-osaka and then we went to Tennoji station. First we decide to have breakfast + lunch, so we went to a fancy bread shop inside a shopping mall near the station. The shop provided a small area where we can sit down and have a rest but since everything in Japan costs $$$ we must buy a drink (the price starts from 280 yen for a cup of hot/cold coffee).
